Too late to express interest?

I am applying to Wesleyan for admission to the class of 2016 and I think its important that I show more interest in the school, especially considering that they don’t have any supplemental essays. I have already had an interview, and I visited the school on a class trip, but I think I should go take a class on campus. Would it be too late to do so after their winter break is over? I think I will visit if only to see how much I like the school, but it would be great if the admissions office took note of my interest. What say ye? Will mid-January be too late for it to count?

The best way is to let them know who you are when you visit; that way the information could make it to your app. Where are you from?

Also note that classes vary immensely in type, size, and even quality. Be cautious in judging a school’s academics based on just one class. However, I agree that letting admissions know who you are when you visit will be an excellent idea.

So you don’t think my application will have already been read by then? My school releases first term grades in mid February, so do you think colleges will wait till then to read my app?

You should definitely go visit if you can and let them know how interested you are (stop by the admissions office and if it’s your first choice, let them know that)… I don’t think it’s too late if you get up before mid-February.

E-mail your admissions officer!

I think you’ve shown enough interest already by getting an interview and visiting the campus. Personally, I had never even visited the campus until my first day at wes. Relax and simply wait for the result.
