Too late?

I am looking to self study world history to take the AP exam and have a few questions

-Is it too late to start such a huge undertaking as I only have 5 months to learn the complete history of the world?
-What text book/review guide do you recommend if any?
-Should I get a tudor/advisor that could help me with the specifics of the exam such as essay writing/formatting?
-Finally, how does the exam differ with European as far as essay writing/DBQ requirements/difficulty?

Thanks in advance and God Bless

God Bless You.

5 months is enough time to study AP World History. Textbook I recommend is the Earth and Its People: A Global History 4/e. I don’t know what study guide to recommend. I did buy PR, but it didn’t help me much. I don’t think you need a tutor/advisor. I believe the essays are much easier to do for APWH because there’s a more comprehensive rubric for each type of the essay. The APWH DBQ, well, demands more than the Euro DBQ. Hope you do well in the APWH exam.
