Hi everyone. I’m a rising junior and I really want to go to MIT but lately I’ve been very lazy and I have only done like half an ACT practice test the whole summer. What motivates you ,other than your dream school, to study for your ACT or other STs.
My kids didn’t just have one dream school, but they really wanted to have choices they wanted spring of senior year. That is what motivated them. Do you maybe have a friend you can study with?
MIT is just my first choice school , but I also have other schools I want to go to. I don’t think any of my friends are willing to study with me …

self motivation to succeed in testing, education, work, and other aspects of life. if you really want something, you work for it. If you don’t work for it, laziness being the reason, you probably just didn’t want it that bad imho
Yeah, I kinda agree. There is someone out there who isn’t lazy who wants that spot, too.
To be completely honest, my fear of failure motivates me more than anything else. It keeps me from not studying so that I do well on any sort of test, from a small test in history to the SAT’s. It pushes me to motivate myself and therefore, succeed.
