*it is likely to be much longer and more painful than a full-term birth.*I wonder why she would choose not to have pain relief medication- there isn’t a fetus to be affected.

I suspect that labor is quick and easy for a woman who has had as many children as Mrs. Duggar has had. (Although obviously laboring to bring forth a stillbirth is awful for any woman.)

Those kids will acquire legitimate college degrees when I sprout elephant ears. They haven’t even had a real secondary education. And no way the girls will ever be permitted to have normal jobs outside the home–that would require Michelle to actually care for her children and would allow the girls to be subjected to all sorts of non-Gothard influences. The dad will effectively select the husbands for the girls because they will only be permitted to socialize with offspring of other Quiverfull families. It’s not like any of them are going to hop in the cars and head out to a mixer at a local college. Read up on Gothard and his philosophy to get the real picture. I only hope at least one of those girls has to courage to strike out on her own and realize her full potential as a human being.

They barely had an education. Mom taught them a nd she isn’t the brightest and the choice of education materials was iffy to say the least. Ever watch them at the creationist museum? Half the class time for the older kids was teaching the younger ones.
