Too much for a first-year?

I’m going to a first-year student this fall and I was planning on doing the following things:
-rush a fraternity
-join SAA
-join USAC either on an IVP internship or on the J-Board

Would this be too much to handle for my first quarter/year?

Are you planning on joining a fraternity? (Rushing and pledging/joining are different things… rushing just implies that you’re checking them out)

But I don’t think it’s “too much.” I wouldn’t expect staff positions on any of those things this year but I don’t think joining them would be that hard. I guess it also depends on what you’re majoring in. If you’re engineering or something else hard then you’d have less time to do accomplish these things if you want good grades. If you’re something North Campus then it wouldn’t be a problem.

I’m a north campus major and I want to pledge.
