Too much for one college? This bad?

I’m planning to do two spring break programs and one summer one at a certain college near me (you can stalk me to find out, but I’ll keep it general). It’s supposed to raise your chance for acceptance.

Will other colleges use this as a bad thing? Will they say “Oh, obviously she wants to go to this college and not ours”? I mean, I can use location as an excuse, but these programs are not inexpensive and my family is far from poor.

I mean, we are talking about quite of bit of time spent at one college’s pre-college programs. Is this a negative?

Well, i guessss they could think that, but on the other hand, it is a college close to you. Besides, if the college really “increases” chances of acceptance from your interest in it, then you already have a solid chance of getting into it, if your grades and ecs and everything else are ok.

Most colleges will tell you that attending a program at a particular school gives you no upper hand in admissions. I would gather that that also means another school won’t penalize you for that program (though, if these programs are based on your ability to pay more than anything, they probably aren’t doing you any favors in the admissions process either).
