Too much music?

I’m in high school and I play the clarinet and am involved with alot of music things. Marching Band, Regular band, maybe jazz band. And I play piano and have been taking lessons for 8 years. I also take ABRSM (its some british music thing) music test.

I want to major in biology, and I am involved with science stuff at school. But is all the music things that I do going to hurt my chances?

Anybody got anything to say?

nah. it shouldn’t. if anything, it looks good. If you are involved with science in school and are taking science courses and doing well, you should be fine. I want to major in psych and i can’t take social science classes till i’m a senior (i’m a junior this year)…

if anything, they’d like the fact that someone who wants to go into science is so creative.

If you show a passion toward both, then it should be fine.

Sounds good to me. Besides, you heard about how math is connected to music, so since science is connected to math than science must be connected to music!!! Never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever quit music. (I’d type ever a bit more but it is a tricky word to type. You try it!) ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever
