Too true to be funny?

<a href=“College Admissions Office Finds Ideal Applicant Capable Of Subsidizing Tuition Of 3 Low-Income Students”>http://www.theonion.com/articles/college-admissions-office-finds-ideal-applicant-ca,35605/

Probably not so flagrantly articulated by admissions folk, but true nonetheless.

Well it is from The Onion…so yeah. Truth veiled in sarcasm/humor is always a good read

Very true (I am just taking that on faith, what do I know?) but also very funny. It’s only not funny if you are a fullpay parent with a kid at Wesleyan (with no sense of humor). That would even be funnier. Also, they could have found an even better candidate whose parents could make major multimillion dollar tax deductible contributions to the university.

Was is Iran that didn’t realize the Onion was a humor site, and quoted something from one of their articles as evivdence against the US?

Very cute - thanks for sharing!

Funny. Not so humorous though is that it is the truth. College admissions these days is just so warped.

The bit about the social activist is even funnier than the main story, IMO.

And here is their latest installment.

That’s hilarious, parentofpeople!
