Took SATI too many times?

I took my first SAT as a rising junior during the summer and broke 2000. Took it again last October and got below 2200. Took it again in January and, as a fluke, got the exact same score at October’s. I took it for a fourth time in March and finally got the score I wanted - 2300+.

Is taking the SAT four times going to hurt my chances? Just FYI, I didn’t study between January and March, but I did improve 120 points. I plan on applying for lower Ivies, UC’s, ect.

No, it is not going to hurt you directly. However, if all of your SAT studying affected your grades or extracurriculars, it might hurt you indirectly.

Actually, it hasn’t affected my grades/ECs at all. But is there any chance college admission officials will view this disfavorably? I’m worried because I have friends who got the score they wanted in their first or second tries, and it took me four tries to get to the same level as them.
