Toolight/heavy of schedule

<p>I really don’t know if this is too light or heavy of a schedule. Anyone have any opinions?</p>

<p>well i am a freshman too but if i am not mistaken this schedule is much too heavy especially because you haven’t accounted for your FWS (or have you?) which is usually a 3 credit course. It is my understanding that freshmen take 13-16 credits (12-13 for varsity athletes)</p>

<p>I’m in CALS and I am exempting out of both of my FWS. In CALS you can do that.</p>

<p>I added the communication class at the end but I’m definitely sticking with the other classes. I plan on transferring department/college at the end of the year. I don’t know whether a higher GPA or a tougher class schedule would look better when transferring colleges/departments. If it is too heavy, I would drop the communication class first.</p>

<p>then i do not consider that as heavy. all your courses are at 1000 level. you should be fine since the difficulty of your courses is not so high. :slight_smile: but man, you probably will get lots of workload. lol.</p>

<p>is there some sort of negative correlation between level and work? are courses more demanding at an intro level?</p>

<p>I’d think that at the intro level, the work is easier but more plentiful, whereas in higher level courses it’s more difficult, but there is less of it.</p>

<p>I could be very wrong though, that’s just what I seem to have read.</p>

<p>That’s not necessarily a very difficult schedule, especially after you take out PE and the Supp course. However, if you do add a FWS, it’ll inflate to 20 (18 graded) credits, i think.
That might be a bit too much for a freshman schedule.</p>
