<p>I’ve been searching for colleges through collegeboard.com. At the bottom of each college’s page lists what percentage of students were from the top 10% of their graduating class. My question is whether the top 10% is based on weighted or unweighted GPA?</p>
<p>im sure its just based on whatever the person reported when they applied to the school. my school ranked on weighted gpa, some rank on the unweighted. so theres a mix of the 2.</p>
<p>Alot of colleges make their own GPA for you and basically ignore the one your school gives, so that could be what they mean.</p>
<p>KJ, but they can’t recalculate your entire school’s GPA, so the percentage you report to them (whether unweighted or weighted) is what they’re referring to.</p>
