<p>How did Syracuse miss the Top Ten? They are now officially the Orange and their mascot is, literally, a piece of fruit.</p>
<p>Heh, I considered the Orange but it just didn’t make my top 10 list. The Green Wave was up there with the Orange but they didn’t make it either. I wanted to lean towards mascots nobody has ever heard of.</p>

<p>I’m a huge Ohio State fan, but I have to admit, the Buckeye kind of sucks.</p>
<p>The UC’s do have some terrible mascots: the UCI anteater and the UCSC banana slug?</p>
<p>there’s a couple… kenyon college is the Lords/Ladies (depending on whether it’s a mens/womens sport).
UChicago is the maroons…
and i’ve always hated U Wisc. Madison’s mascot… the Badgers… so stupid
