top 15% in hs class?

<p>I’m ranked 82/609 and ranked in thr top 15%. Is that a big factor for an admission decision for UT.</p>

<p>Very. Make sure you have some good test scores (30+ ACT/2050+ SAT) and write some decent essays to have a good chance of getting in.</p>

<p>I wouldn’t use the word decent to describe the chances without a LOT more information, particularly whether the OP is Texan or not. If they aren’t, they defintely don’t have a “decent” chance. Even if they are Texan, if they are a senior next year, the top ten law is going to be pretty bad so I still wouldn’t call it a “decent” chance.</p>
