W&M- In! I feel like if you apply ED, you can get into W&M. SAT, GPA, and EC’s all look up to par. Make sure you have a lot of community service because W&M puts a lot of emphasis on that.

Well, I do community service for NHS, I finished the Silver Trefoil (100 hours community service) and I’m practically done with the Gold Award (65 hour community service/leadership project). Oh, and I volunteer every year as a 2-week summer camp counselor. Do you think that’s good enough?

Low weighted GPA for W&M. Bring it up to have a good shot. Toughest school in VA to get into. Good luck.

The grading scale in our county is:

94-100 - A
90-93 - B+
84-89 - B
80-83 - C+

and so on. Also, our honors classes aren’t weighted. Does anyone know if W&M takes this into consideration?

Also, can anyone chance me for Emory, Wellesley, and Macalester?

Bump. Anyone else?

I was also thinking about Brown… am I crazy?

My county just changed the weights for the honors classes. My weighted GPA is now a 3.96.

Someone else chance me, please! WM is still probably my ED school!
