Top accounting school people might not know about

Too late for this year’s seniors, but i just found this forum

If you want to almost for-sure pass the CPA test the first time at a cheep, easy to get into university, check out Montana State. I’m not going to be an accountant and I’m not going to Montana State, but i have been to the campus 10+ times for various reasons and it is a great school. A recruiter came to my school and told us, if i remember right, 87% of MSU students pass the CPA test the first time, and i think she said the average was 17%.

Also amazing skiing between Bridger Bowl, Big Ski, and Moonlight Basin

bumpbumpbump

Well, the average passing all four parts at one sitting has historically been around 4 to 5%, but is now around 9-10%.

Passing all four parts was historically around 20-21% in the 1980s and 1990s but 40-43% now that the test is computerized (with more multiple choice questions involved), so if Montana State students are passing at an 87% rate, that is impressive.

Kind of hard to believe, though. I suppose it depends on whether that is the pass rate for all students in the accountancy program, or only those that actually take the test.
