<p>APUSH - I bought the Kaplan review guide… Which wasn’t very useful other than for the practice tests inside. AMSCO was a lifesaver in the final stretch of the course, I definitely recommend that book for anyone taking the class. Didn’t use the Barron’s book, so I can’t really vouch for that, but the Direct Hits was also a great supplement.
Bio - I start taking this year. My instructor personally recommends the Cliffnotes book, since she said many of her prior students had great success using it. I’ll probably get the Kaplan book, seeing as to how that’s the one my Mom always tends to grab from the bookstore, and see how that one is.</p>
