Top Chef Masters starts tomorrow night on Bravo. The set up is a little different - each week 4 established chefs compete and one goes on to a final competition vs other week’s winners.

Any one else going to be tuning in?

Thanks for posting this, I am working out of town and not watching much TV, I love TC

I am absolutely watching! I hope it’s good! My s and his friends used to gather here to watch Top Chef every Wednesday, but this year they were all off at school. In fact, my s and his buddy are at this moment creating a dry rub and trying it out on some chicken. They’ve decided if they can’t find jobs they’ll just work on learning how to make great bbq. The funny thing is that neither one of them has much cooking experience, so to see them recoiling in horror after touching a raw chicken breast was pretty entertaining.

I’ll be there!

I’m still waiting to get one of those TVs where they let you taste the food.

Well have you tried licking the screen with your eyes closed?

Thanks for the heads up to program the DVR!

Also started watching “Next Food Network Star” this past Sunday. Not as classy or top-line as Top Chef but a show our family has enjoyed Sunday nights for the past couple of years…easy summer watching!

I’ll give it a try but I don’t buy the premise. I like Top Chef but Top Chef Masters? There is no way that a real top chef is going to put his reputation on the line for 100K for charity so I’m not buying the premise. It’s going to be ‘almost-was’ types.

I wish I could see it tonight, ironically I’ll be at my cooking course… :

I will definately watch. Regular season Top Chef was one show we watched as a family this past year so I look forward to it. Of course, H and I will probably be watching alone as summer nights mean two Ss are either working or socializing, certainly not hanging with the 'rents!

Definitely watching. TLC has saved my summer because at least they have new shows. I love the new one “the Little Couple.” Edit: I realize this one is on Bravo…I’ll be flipping between Bravo and TLC.

An episode made for CC! cooking in the dorm rooms. I loved it when one of the chef’s told the student he should have made his bed. And the pasta in the shower. Very amusing.

A little sugary, but still fun. Wish we heard more comments from the Ponoma kids.

I thought mac and cheese was most inspired.

Agreed and speaking of sugar the part with the girl scouts was a bit corny. Interesting how they kept showing camera shots of the logo on the car, the microwave, etc. But at least we didn’t have to sit through a bunch of infomercial videos like the Ford stuff on American Idol.

Well, no one has yet asked my burning question, and maybe someone knows: What happened to Padma? And who is that imposter in the green dress?
