I wish the LCK was done as blind tastings.

I saw that too,Marilyn, that said they filmed on both ships. They have only mentioned the Infinity so far by name (unless I missed reference to the Millennium). The previews for next week show them still in Alaska so looks like more to come with the ship/ships. It is so cool to see them on a ship I was just on.

I will miss Stefan. :(

But I would have been ticked if they got rid of Sheldon.

Honestly , I was SO mad that Josh got by tonight! His scallop thing was a fail that he scoured to make it work - looked AWFUL. And his “turf”?? Looked like acon bits!!! Those bacon bits counted a a protein??!!!

Still have to watch LCK though - what’s all the promotion talk about the Stefan-Kristie “romance”??? (Stefan seems like a very lovable/touchable guy for someone who can be a little sarcastic/gruff at times!)

I was on the same ship to Alaska out of Seattle too. But my cruise was before Infinity was soltisized. I love Celebrity and think they offer the best experience out of all mass cruise lines for not that much more than Carnival that offers meat-loaf and hamburger for dinner.

My kids still remember that cruise and think it was the best even after we were on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas.

Apparently it tasted great, but to me it, too, looked awful. I would be afraid to put it in my mouth.

The thing is he did not really skated by, if we did not know that he screwed up the pasta, and just heard what judges have to say about Stush’s dish, I think we would not even think that he skated by.

Tom C. always talks about the importance of making it work, which is apparently what Stush did. He should not be penalized for having to abandon his original plan.

To me the disappointment comes from having to endure looking at and listening to Josie for such a loooong time. She had no place there and I was disappointed every time some one else had to go home. Even when the most hated chef left because of his risotto (and hamburger), I was upset that she was still there.

I also think it was a mistake for Stefan and probably for CJ to come back in regular season. Especially when they came back with Josie. It’s like TC was insinuating that Stefan and CJ are in the same league as Josie (and with regular contestants). If were Stefan, my thought would have been that I grew since my last stint on TC and as a result I should not be in the same league as rookies. I would have only come back to TC-all star.

I also think that the same arrogance that cost Stefan title on his first season, did him in this season.

Getting here a little late, but regarding Kristen. I’m a fan was was also sad to see her go, but honestly, if she is going to take full responsibilty and only go so far to defend herself, she deserves to go. It was her choice to a great extent. I’m sure she felt it was what she had to do. Justice - she beat CJ! Hope she comes back! Have not seen who wins between Kristen and Stepan. Nail biter!

This is a bit off-topic but, as a Seattle resident, I was curious about the location of the waterfront home in which Tom hosted the fried chicken cook-off. On the show he said he had rented the house while in in Seattle, but he tweeted that he had not really rented the house. I found this $15.8 million house on-line and think it may be the one they used. I didn’t think the distinctive kitchen tile photographed well on the show but it looks quite different in these professional real estate shots.

I couldn’t stand Josie either. If I were in the food industry I’d never want to work with her. I do like the fact that all the remaining chefs after Josie seem fond of one another and are nice to each other.

Here’s the house:

I wasn’t surprised Lizzie went, she has the quietest personality. I’m still rooting for Kristen

If you are a fan of this show, you should read Gayle’s book, Talking with My Mouth Full. It’s an entertaining read.

My daughter and I hated Josie, too.

So we are down to Jose and Brooke - I personally did not want to see Josh in the finals. Anyone know who won the final LCK?? REALLY hoping it was Kristen.

I will say that I’m not very attached to this group - I think many of their personalities were kind of “blah”.

Can someone explain LCK? I don’t get how someone that loses could potentially be in the running to win the whole thing.

We’re down to Sheldon and Brooke, and either Kristen or Lizzie (Josh lost in LCK but we have to wait for the finale to see who won). I think they started doing LCK because so many people thought certain eliminations were unfair; it wasn’t always cooking that got someone kicked off. Like with Kristen, who should have spoken up for herself. The overload this season is to have LCK and Save-a-Chef and Fan Favorite.

I do have to say that this season seems to be the least gimmicky of all those I’ve watched. All the Quickfires and Elimination Challenges involve actual cooking of adequate ingredients. Yes, they had to use what was available at the Iditarod camp but they didn’t have to go shoot a moose or anything! They had to cook only with aluminum foil once; I think that might have been the worst? It’s not like they had to cook with only one hand, or use what was stocked on a tourist ferry boat, or add a mystery ingredient that went spinning past them, or bike around town to find a kitchen…

Realized I called Sheldon “Jose” above - oops. :)

Just got home. On pins and needles if Kristen returns. I think Kristen and Brooke were best this season, and it was a shame they weren’t head tohead all season. It would have been more exciting than seeing Brooke win every challenge against sheldon and josh

The “spoiler” going around is that Kristen’s tattoo of a spoon was shown in the preview, suggesting she’s in the final.

^^Haha , that’s interesting!

But further photo analysis on those other sites indicate that Brooke also has a spoon tattoo, and it’s probably her in the preview.
Spoon tattoos must be very stylish for female chefs! Luckily we’ll all know tonight.

It comes down to the 2 females’ both should have been competing head to head all season.
