Top Graphic Design schools in the US

Hello, I am currently in high school and I have decided that I would major in graphic design. However I have not been able to decide the university options. Instead of asking which schools are the best I would like to know which schools have the most (i’m not sure how to say this) graduates getting a job in the US.

The graphic design field has always been competitive and is expected to continue in this trend. Experienced graphic designers will be given preference by employers. Recent graduates of graphic design degree programs will have to rely on their educational credentials to persuade employers to offer them positions. Consider the factors employers may find of most importance; quality of the degree program, reputation of the school, accreditation by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. Choose a college which offers a superior academic program. The college should provide current technology and design software with which to train their students. Employers will want individuals who are capable of utilizing both effectively. Here’s some good design schools.

Carnegie Mellon University
Virginia Commonwealth University
Rhode Island School of Design
Pratt Institute
Maryland Institute College of Art
Cranbrook Academy of Art
University of Delaware
California Institute of the Arts

Thanks for the info, however I still have one more question. Which schools have a superior advertising program?

I’m not sure if it is a regional thing, but Art Center is very well known as the “go to” school if you want to study graphic design in the LA/So Cal area.
