<p>I’m interested in security studies at the top programs (SSP, SIPA, etc.). However, my math background only consists of statistics. I know that Georgetown’s SSP doesn’t require econ, though MSFS and a lot of other programs do. Is it really possible to be successful in the grad school game without taking econ extensively? Econ really doesn’t play a large role (if at all) in my concentration, so if I can avoid it I will. Any success stories out there? Any insight?</p>
