Top tier school for me?

Hi,
I was just wondering with my scores/ecs/everything… do i have a chance for top tier schools? Like Ivies? Or should i set my goal lower?
SAT 2100, plan to take again for 2200.
ACT 33.
PSAT 217 (national merit)
GPA 4.4 weighted. 3.8 unweighted.
I have got about 300 hours of community service for a medical reseaerch center at Univeristy of Cincinnati.
Board of Officers for my Orchestra as well as Principal Chair and Honors Orchestra
4 year Varsity Swim team, making it to States.
Shadowed a pharmacist
Leader in church activities (worship, sunday school teacher, counselor)
Also. I plan on going into Pharmacy, should i look into the 0-6 programs? Do i have a chance at those?
Thanks!

A couple of questions to help clarify.
Does your GPA place you at or near the top of your class?
Have you taken the most rigorous schedule available to you?
Are you a good enough swimmer to be recruited?
The answers to these questions may help you figure out if you would be a viable candidate at top schools.
And, yes you should definitely check out to top pharmacy schools if that is your primary interest.

You’re a good candidate for Berkeley, JHU, Northwestern, Virginia, Michigan, Cornell, Rice or Vanderbilt.

^ I don’t believe any of those schools, nor any of the Ivies, have undergraduate programs in pharmacology (if that’s what the OP wants).

You have a good shot at Michigan, which happens to have an excellent (top 5 nationally) 6-year Pharmacy program. You can get a BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, but to become of Doctor of Pharmcy will require 6 years.

Check out University of Connecticut, #27 USNWR’s National Public University

Yes, my GPA is top 5% and i have taken every honors/ap classes courses that are possible. I could get recruited in swimming for D2 schools. but i really dont want to continue swimming in college.
Yeah, most Ivies don’t have a pharm program.
But just wanted to know if i had a chance at the Ivies?
Or, the best pharm schools?

This sounds very competitive, I had no idea! Thanks for posting this thread!

1- Just to make explicit here what’s happening:

“Top Tier” Schools DO NOT = Best fit for this student who’s interested in Pharmacy

2- Apply to an Ivy if you want . . but ONLY if that school is a good academic “fit” for you (e.g., Columbia has a rigorous core curriculum and Brown has no requirements) AND you would happily go to any of the other schools you apply to

Love Thy Safeties :-)
