topic for thesis (petroleum engineering)

<p>Good evening everyone! I am currently taking an undergraduate course of petroleum engineering here in the Philippines. Now that I am in my fourth year, it is required for a to have a thesis about our course. Can you suggest interesting topics in my field for our study? I would appreciate any help from you. Since the Philippines is a developing country, the technology here is quite behind compared to the US and the Middle East. So just simple yet interesting topics about petroleum. :)</p>

<p>Do you have an interest as far as discipline? (Production, reservoir, drilling, etc.)</p>

<p>Yes, but all we have here are only theories (lectures). Since theses requires a lot of experimentation (am I right), can I have a topic in those disciplines?</p>

<p>Can you explain a bit more about the requirements of the thesis?</p>

<p>If you can’t do lab work, you can always research SPE papers, and other publications.</p>

<p>There are no requirements for the thesis. But there are considerations. For example, I would not pick a study regarding oil rigs since there are no rigs in our place. So it’s a little difficult for me to pick a study. :(</p>
