I was thinking to write mine about the world of physics (physics is a part of everybody’s world) and how that has motivated me to understand the universe at a fundamental (intimate) level.
One of the things I was taught was to make your essay stand out. The people reading your essays are real people; what catches their eye translates to application gold. While physics is an interesting subject, it is frequently used and does not provide as unique and fresh of a viewpoint as another topic might be.
My suggestion would simply be to make yours more unique, and make it stand out more. You can continue the physics topic; just make sure it has a zing to it. For example, have you done a crazy experiment that involved physics before? These stories will hook admissioners in.
