<p>I know a lot about film and some of my favorite examples to use relate to drug/gang/violence such as The Godfather, Forrest Gump, and Requiem For A Dream, etc.</p>
<p>2 questions:</p>
<li><p>If I use critically praised films such as The Godfather or Fargo would it be looked down as an example of pop culture?</p></li>
<li><p>Is it okay to include examples of films that often have references to violence and drug addiction, etc?</p></li>
