<p>When you apply for the Torch does the committee send you an email if you are a finalist or not? I know that they picked this year’s Torch scholars already but my teacher sent a nomination and I never got any notification afterwards.</p>
<p>I don’t believe they have been chosen yet. I emailed the director of the program about 2 weeks ago about my FAFSA and she told me what to do. Last year they didn’t start reviewing till the beginning of February and interviews were done at the end of March. I think the Torch Class 5 is from last year if you look at the blog. Also remember HS class of 2011 would usually be 2016 vs. 2015 at NEU because it’s a (mostly) 5 year institution</p>
