<p>Does Auburn University allow torrent downloading?</p>
<p>Interesting question – though this type of file exchange can be a great way to move data, a lot of people use it to illegally snag movies, software, etc. I could imagine Auburn having little tolerance for Torrent downloading, particularly if it could jeopardize the speed of their network, or if unauthorized material was being exchanged on a fairly massive scale. </p>
