<p>okay, i know that this shouldn’t be a major criteria for deciding on a school, and its not. i recently got my acceptence to mcgill, and as i live in ny i have not the chance to visit yet. just wondering what the scene is like politically, or if the political scene is active at all. i have been accepted at brandeis, nyu, and vanderbilt as well, and was just wondering what the scene is like there on that sense. </p>

<p>Not being a Canadian I could be off, but I think it’s fair to say Quebec is left of Massachusetts.</p>

<p>Quebec is very left wing, both socially and fiscally.</p>
<p>it’s very active and very left. </p>
<p>That being said I’m pretty right and have never been hassled for my political beliefs.</p>
