<p>I she destroys Kongs, there is not much you can do. Probably, the cheaper disposable toy route is the way to go! We discovered that our dog was great at helping out with recycling - the dog was the best milk jug flattener. 
Also, he liked to play with soccer balls, but he destroyed them so fast! Only a few dozens of balls later we finally figured out that he wanted <em>flat</em> soccer balls. So we left him alone, and he played with his last ball until it was completely shredded. He carried this unrecognizable mess in his mouth like a toddler would carry his favorite blankie. :)</p>
<p>Allthis: What a truly brilliant idea!!! I am going to find some pennies and make a treat for my dogs today!!!</p>
<p>So for my 2 yr old lab border collie :i throw some dog food kibble in the milk jugs. Rattles like crazy.As long as he doesn’t swallow the plastic jug pieces he rips off he is good to go. So far so good.</p>
<p>He likes the kong wubba which is hard to destroy. It does have a squeaker. I have seen dogs destroy it though.</p>
<p>He really likes soccer balls, basketballs and the horse ball without the handle. They all have holes. He likes them this way. The horse ball never goes flat.</p>

My daughter bought emeralddog an untanned undyed stitched something or other. He loves it.
He especially likes things with faces and stuffing.
You should see him pull out the stuffing, especially if its tightly packed like with the Tuffy toys.
Its like their entrails.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, Cleo (the one that goes through kong brand stuff) is terrified of plastic bottles. Whenever they make a noise, she jumps. It’s why I’m so confused by her squeaky toy fascination. </p>
<p>I wonder if I can just buy them in bulk…

<p>ETA: I should say that the kong brand things she destroys are the tennis balls with the squeakers. The Kong brand things that you stuff treats in has survived for a few years- though she doesn’t purposely try to destroy those like the squeakers! </p>
<p>Too bad beanie babies would be a mess/ dangerous/dont squeak, we have a ton of those.
Squeakers sound just like chipmunks.
He also has a plush puppies snake that seems pretty indestructible.</p>

<p>Our dog also loved plastic bottles, but we got worried about plastic shreds. Kongs did it for her- but they kept disappearing. We’d find them later- in places they couldn’t possibly have bounced or rolled. Like under a couch with so little clearance to the floor that you’d have to lift it to get the Kong under. Who knows.</p>
<p>My trainer suggested I not let my pit mix have squeaky toys because she is already a little too interested in small squeaky dogs. Recently got her the Galileo Nylabone and she loves it. She’s gnawing away at it but it will last a very long time. </p>
<p>Bumping this up because we may have found a solution. </p>

<p>It doesn’t have a physical squeaker that she can pull out. It has been almost 24 hours so it is officially her longest-lasting squeaky toy (ever?). Not even a puncture mark in it. She likes it, and it’s a new challenge for her. She has been going to town on it on and off over the last day. It’s fun for both fetch and squeaky fun. </p>

<p>My dog loves his Galileo nylabone. It has lasted four years of intense gnawing. We will be getting a new one this year as my dog has manage to make one end of the bone very sharp. Regular nylabones he ignores.</p>

<p>Also- I spoke too soon. She did manage to puncture it. Still squeaks just fine though! </p>
<p>This one for lasted months and months of intense use by a frisky Great Pyrenees. She still loves it although it has been recently de-squeakified. I ordered her a new one for Christmas!</p>

<p>My new rescue golden, Maggie, loves stuffed squeaky toys, and will carry them around for weeks until she suddenly seems to decide to disembowel and destroy them. My current solution is to buy two from the PetCo 2 for $5 bin every few months.</p>

<p>I wish I could do that. She seems to make it her life’s mission as soon as she gets a squeaky toy to tear it to shreds. When getting on Christmas decorations last week, we found a ball that my rott/GSD had at the end of her life when she got too old to tear through things. Gave it to my dog and it was destroyed in about 5 minutes. Poor ball had lived peacefully in a box for several years only to be destroyed within minutes. Ah well. </p>
<p>Our lab LOVES new toys but destroys them within an hour. If it has a squeaker, a tag, or a seam, it’s a goner. But, we did find this which has lasted for a couple of months so far…</p>

<p>There are 2 squeakers inside, one is broken (you can hear it rattling around) but the other one still works. The toy only squeaks if you squeeze it just the right way. So she surprises herself sometimes.</p>
<p>And, although surprisingly she hasn’t pulled out the seams yet, supposedly there’s just a rubber toy inside that you can still use.</p>
