Tour de France 2014

Is anyone else watching? I’ve been watching the Tour for 15 years, and this one is incredible. But what got me to post was Andrew Talansky today. Dude has guts. I hope he can continue on tomorrow.

I haven’t been watching, but have been keeping track. Talansky riding with an injured back, Contador attempting to to catch up to the group riding with what was later determined to be a broken tibia I believe, Froome continuing after breaking his wrist. The tour has shown just how tough some of these guys are and just how dangerous. Tala sky is young and will have more tours ahead. TJ Vandergard looks to be in the best shape of the American riders. It’s been a wild ride.

Is Talasky going to make the time limit? Sure hope so, watching it live now

Yep. It’s one of H’s obsessions so it’s been on in the morning before he goes to work and then on in the evening. I watch mainly for the beautiful scenery.

My H also watches every morning before work. This has really be an wild tour so far!

Talansky did not start todays stage. I was afraid of that after yesterday. That makes at least 3 GC riders out. Talansky, Contador and Froome. It’s been a brutal first week and a half.

^^^^
He didn’t? Was I watching yesterday’s tv coverage? I wasn’t home yesterday :(

Watching him yesterday, I didn’t think there was any way he could ride today. :frowning: A shame, but he’ll be one of the top riders for 10 years, so he’ll be back.

He’s been my favorite since Froome crashed out. Gotta find a new one now.

I’m starting to think I may root for Nibali. If he wins he’ll have won all the majors. I’d love to see TJ podium but there is a lot of racing left. Maybe if Nibali wins he’ll finally get that kiss :).
