For the fans, today was a sweet day. Not at the level of the Classics, but the images with riders passing tall windmills was fabulous. The race ended below sea level.
They were in Holland, hence the windmills.
Wow… Lots of crashes. 
I never understand how those guys manage to walk away from some of those crashes. And how, when they are riding in a pack (or is it called a peloton?) with all those fans crowded around, how do they NOT crash more often?
