Tower C - Question

I’ve been assigned to Tower C for this coming year (first choice, so I’m thrilled). I was able to find a video on youtube (search “my dorm room - Tower C”). From what I was able to see, there is a closet as you walk into the room that does not have a door. I would like to hang some sort of curtain, but am not sure of the width or height of the closet. Any idea?

I’d love to hear from others who have lived in this dorm. Any tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Kef318,

Here’s some information about Tower C from an RA

ROOMS:
Tower C rooms are pie-shaped wonders approximately 17’ x 6.5’. Every third floor should have 27 rooms and a lounge, but due to overflow, most lounges are used as housing for now. In your room you should find an adjustable bed, desk/shelves, chair, and 2 dressers that can be stacked or separated. They also have a trash can and a phone.

CLOSETS:
Every room has a closet space (approximately 4’ x 2.5’) with three wire frame shelves that are approximately 2’ x 1.25’ and one shelf that is approximately 3.25’ x 1.25’. These are removable.

BULLETIN BOARDS:
Every room has a bulletin board. They are plain blue, and can be used however you like.Rooms with two windows have them on the side wall, the others have them beside the window.

WINDOWS:
Room 901 starts with 2 windows, and every third room has two as well.
(901, 904, 907, 910, 913, 916, 919, 922, 925)
Room 902 and every third has one window on the Right.
(902, 905, 908, 911, 914, 917, 920, 923, 926)
Room 903 and every third has one window on the Left.
(903, 906, 909, 912, 915, 918, 921, 924, 927)

If you want a rough estimate of your view:
910 looks over Five Guys and The O across Forbes Ave. (at Panera)
920 looks across 5th Ave. and up Bouquet St.
930 looks towards 5th Ave/Tower B.

Hail to PITT!

If you get one of those adjustable shower rods, that will fit the closet perfectly. My daughter used that with a nice shower curtain.
