Local coverage:
I suspect there is a lot of extreme drinking going on at Dartmouth (as there always has been), but this seems like an awful accident that could have happened a lot of places that have water. Not like it is unusual for a 20 year old to be drunk and served by 21 year olds at a party. Did evidence of hazing actually appear? Seems weird if there were both sorority and fraternity members there - IMO that sort of stuff happens in houses w/o outsiders, but who knows.
Awful though, truly awful. someone should have been paying attention to people coming in/out of water, and the deceased apparenlty couldn’t swim
