My D asked if she coud take some of them back with her to school tomorrow - on the one hand I didn’t want to give some of them up, but on the other hand I don’t want to eat them all (and know I will!) - so yep, she’s taking a good portion of them back with her!

(I dunked them in my TJ Blackberry tea…I think that’s going to be my guilty pleasure at work this week!!)

Oh, I have such a bad case of Trader Joe’s envy! It is getting worse and worse as I read this thread. Joe has not yet decided to set up shop in our area.

Ok, after saving SO MUCH time reading the inuit/polynesian didgeridoo playing, sled-dog racing, UTas attending, Old Norse learning future Druid priestess thread, I decided to go to TJs with the most-popular list. It was like a whole new experience. I inched along the aisles searching out treasures.

The Gravenstein applesauce is indeed delish.
The choc dipped choc chip dunkers are better than biscotti…never thought I’d say that.
The mini peanut butter cups are to-die-for. We like them more than the bigger ones.
The Mandarin Chicken is our new Chinese Take Out substitute. Delish.
Triple Ginger cookies the most gingery snaps ever.
The Sparkling Blueberry juice was alright. Next I’m trying the Sparkling Blood Orange.

Am letting the Choc Croissants rise right now for tomorrow morning.

Sparkling Blood Orange is the way to go. Did I mention that I love blood oranges? I just bought 3 2-lb packages of them at a locat TJ’s for $1.99 each. Three days later, they are gone. Did I mention that there is only H and I living in the house? I swear the cat hates citrus.

I also bought one can each of TJs 3 canned cat food varieties. My 3 finicky cats loved the seafood variety. Now THAT is amazing–as any of you who have cats knows. Introducing a new brand of catfood is a very very delicate thing and takes much time and patience. However, my dd just opened it and plopped it into their bowl and it was gone moments later.

LOVE the Simmering Sauce Red Pepper Curry…just simmer with stir fry chicken, broccoli mushrooms, or whatever. Has some coconut milk in it too. Great over basmati rice and easy (Easy is my main requirement as I do not cook)

We should be getting some payola from TJ’s. I just spent $200 there after looking at this thread again. Am having some delicious salmon, french green beans tonight. Bought a bunch of delicious frozen deserts and bags of frozen easy meals like garlic chicken, orange chicken, shrimp teriyakii. Am munching on chiabatta. Will have some of the dippers and biscotti tomorrow. Also bought some blood oranges and blood orange soda. Picked up some of the marinated beef (in Korean barbecue ), my kids’ favorite. The baby cucumbers were scrumptious and I am luxuriating in fresh peaches out of season!

They are quite reasonable. I have 6 dinners for 6, 5 full desserts for 6, fruit for the week-bananas, blood oranges, peaches, apples, apple sauce. Also some veggies and some little things and a bunch of biscotti. Not cheap but a lot less expensive than eating out.

I just got back from TJ’s. Right before I left I went to the official TJ’s website and they mentioned Almond windmill cookies. I remember liking windmill cookies from bins in the grocery store (Archers, Archmans?) and thought I’d give these a whirl. Oh, my!
Buttery and nutty. I’m hiding them from the family.

Just came home from TJ’s. I saw those cookies at the checkstand. I was tempted but resisted!
I actually came home with 1 bag with just the items I went into the store to buy.

New item alert at my local TJ’s: Dark chocolate covered pretzel crisps. Positively addicting. So much so, I almost forgot about the Girl Scout cookies in my freezer.
