<p>Describe the traditions of NYU (I know there aren’t many)…</p>
<p>Is there any truth to these:

<p>I’ve vaguely heard of the “violet ball”. Other than that, I don’t know if its NYU’s PR office making $hit up or what, because I haven’t witnessed/heard of any of those events.</p>
<p>Yeah, I’ve been to the Apple Fest and Strawberry Fest and have heard about the Violet Ball… Hey, free food.</p>
<p>If those were all true, how great would that be!</p>
<p>None of them stand out as particularly interesting.</p>
