Sad.

wow a fratty Yale undergrad was the driver? I thought it was a townie.

This is so sad. I’ve been to that particular parking lot/field many times, although not to a football game at Yale. There’s a lot of speculation about drunk driving and road rage … but I think it was just a terrible, tragic accident.

And the party continued - how very typical.

There is far too much speculation.
The driver of the vehicle has not been charged.

The “party” and football game did continue…there were 50k people there and many were not even aware of the event until the half time annoucement. While the incident is certainly a tragedy…50k people weren’t going to stop and go home. That isn’t meant to sound less compassionate, just realistic.

The U sent a short email blast message to all students with information and also is making counseling available to those who might have seen/were impacted by the incident.
