All my months of reading college confidential posts and I never knew Indiana University & Purdue had a combined campus. (the killer was a graduate)
The husband and the victim had been employed by University of Delaware.
IU and Purdue flagship campuses are not combined. But some non flagship campuses are.
@Cookies510 - Indiana University is in Bloomington. Purdue main campus is in W. Lafayette.
Indiana University and Purdue University have shared campuses in Indianapolis and Fort Wayne: IUPUI and IPFW.
Yes, the satellite campuses may overlap but not the main campuses.
Ms. Chapman was also married.
I’m aware of both school’s main campus locations. Just never knew the two schools shared a satellite campus which seems unusual.

On all other sites where this topic is being discussed: “OMG! She killed her husband’s girlfriend in cold blood and then herself?”
On CC: “Are IU and Purdue one campus? Main campus or satellite campus? Where is Fort Wayne? Is that near Lafayette?”

Well there is a big Purdue/IU rivalry so it ruffled feathers. In all seriousness though, this story is very horrific.
This has been the leading headline for the past 2 days in Philly with multiple articles all reporting the same limited info until this afternoon when it was revealed the wife had been seeking marriage counseling on nextdoor.com & that the victim was separated from her husband.
This is quite a story in Philly.
This is horrible to say, but I can’t help thinking that the wife was named after an upscale appliance??
In addition to felons, the mentally ill, young children, and teenagers, you know who else should not be allowed to have guns? People who just found out their spouse was having an affair. Especially with someone meaningfully younger.
I can’t help but pity the husband. He made the bad decision to have an affair, and now both his wife and lover are dead.
Hopefully neither couple had kids.
Of the three principal figures, he seems to have come out best.
I think it’s clear that the younger couple didn’t have kids. If the older couple had kids, they didn’t show up on their social media accounts.
