This is probably a very silly question but am just wondering if this is the norm. My daughter is a junior and has applied to some summer programs (TASP and SSP) which request a transcript as part of the application process. My daughter’s would only include courses through her sophomore year, nothing on junior year as they are not “completed”. Does anyone have any experience with those two programs- should the school provide anything further on the courses she’s taking junior year or does it not really matter?

Some summer programs request transcripts to see what kind of courses your child has taken. She can still submit a transcript with her junior classes listed even if she is still enrolled in them. It will not count against her.

Since those are both highly academic and competative programs, you should have the HS send a list of your D’s current classes, including her mid year grades.

Thanks, menloparkmom- I did write to SSP and they were very quick to respond- told us we could just send a copy of her report card - and have now changed their application instructions accordingly.

i have a question here
i don’t have my score reports so i just asked my guidance counselor to print out something from the Naviance program
is that allowed?

Transcripts at our local hs have not only classes that have been completed but also classes that are being taken currently.
