<p>An unofficial transcript is a transcript that is not delivered directly by the school or delivered sealed by the school that issued it. In many cases you can get an unofficial transcript from your counselor, or request one from your registrar at no cost. Some high schools charge for them and it may take up to a few days to get one at this busy time of year, so if you don’t have one yet you should request one tomorrow.</p>
<p>Yes, picking up a transcript yourself is a good idea, but you don’t have to rush mail it - you can FAX it in or scan it into USConnect. (Those are both examples of unofficial transcripts - you would still need to submit an official version, but your counselor may already be doing that - be sure to double-check.)</p>
