Ok so my first year i’m spending at the university of colorado boulder, i was accepted to u of i when i applied (deferred at first)
I’m planning on transferring sophomore year because ill be closer to my bf, family, and such.

They said they ask for my high school transcripts and all college transcripts, idk if they look at ACT (total 26, science 27, math 29, reading 23, english 25)

my H.S. transcript was a 3.83 uw(95.71%) and a 4.377 w (85.84%) out of a class of 932. my high school was one of the top public schools in IL i guess as well. i also did vball fresh-soph, cross country junior year, and worked all senior year part time 15 hrs/wk. i’ve been volunteering at a local animal shelter as well all through out h.s. but got really involved senior year

at boulder i plan to do really well and get involved in the hiking club and maybe some academic club, im going to be taking the max amount of honors classes allowed(2). i also received the chancellors scholarship ($20,000) for top 20% out of state

So my question is do you think i have a good chance of being accepted even though
- i was deferred
- i denied the acceptance
- im going to colorado, boulder( i know it has a bad rep but thats not the reason i’m going there)

im in-state, although it probably doesn’t make a difference at this point, and i don’t need financial aid
my friend whose going there got accepted the first time even though she had a lower GPA in both uw and w and has taken less challenging classes. she also needed financial aid.
i know a few people from my grade who also were deferred at first when they had better grades then her as well
