If there are any former transfer students on here, could you tell me how long it takes to get a decision on if you’re accepted or not? I know the website says 30 days, but I doubt it actually takes that long. Thanks in advance…

i don’t know when but you should think about transferring carefully. the tuition has increased to over 50K and all the merit based scholarships that i have seen online are for entering freshmen only.

COA and tuition are NOT the same thing. Tuition alone is NOT over $50k. And besides, as a transfer he can live off campus, thus saving substantially on both housing and the meal plan if that is a concern.

i sorry i meant cost in total.
the cost of attending is over 50K. happy?
even if he can save substantially ,
you cant deny that attending washU costs a lot of money even if one can save money on dorm and meal. (tuition 37k, so with the save, you prob have to pay over 40K at least)
living outside of campus has its negatives too. you miss out on great friendships, which is a big minus for a transfered student.

not really answering my question…but just so you know, i would be staying on campus, and i know it is super expensive.
