Transfer admissions

Hey does anyone know how important SAT I/II’s play in the transfer admissions process?

bump i wanna know this as well like if you have in the low 2000’s is there any chance of getting in if everything else is superb also what is you have ur SAT II’s in the low 700’s ???

They will become less significant as you have more college work to show. It’s difficult to quantify how “important” they are, but I can say that they are not nearly as important as they were for freshman admission. Instead, it will be your college transcript, class rigor, and “Why Columbia?” essays that will be your selling point. If, however, your scores are simply too low, then all I can do is offer you good luck.

is it possible to go back and retake the SAT IIs??

The completed online transfer application
The $70 application fee.
An official high school transcript (from all schools attended)
An official college transcript (from all schools attended)
SAT I or ACT scores (and TOEFL scores if necessary)
A letter of recommendation from a college professor
A Statement of Good Academic Standing from the current institution

sat 2’s are not required.

Unless your SAT I scores were absolutely horrendous and you don’t have much of a college record to show, I would not bother retaking anything. They’re not going to consider it that much.

2050 (3 tries total) and I’m trying to transfer into a top tier school?

If you’ve already taken it 3 times, then I highly recommend spending your time doing other things.
