I plan on transferring to Northeastern for my junior year and I am trying to get my GPA up. I’m picking my classes for next semester and I’m trying to make sure I meet all of Northeastern’s prerequisites. I have a 3.06 right now and my grade was significantly hurt because of a D I received in Applied Finite Mathematics. Under the prerequisites for Northeastern they ask for Mathematics and I do not know whether I should retake the course which would override that grade or if I should just keep the D. I don’t know how much of a big deal it would be if I was one course behind. Any opinions on what I should do would be greatly appreciated.

i’d retake it - and get a tutor

Thanks for the response, I’d also like to add that I could take the next level course which is business statistics.
