Transfer chance from NYU

Hi, I currently at NYU hoping to transfer to Michigan next fall. Could anyone please chance me.

I have a 3.7 at NYU with 18 credits. I have a fair amount of extra curricula's and my essays are pretty good.

Sats were 1380 reading and math combined

Went to high school in the UK and did a levels. was pretty ****ty though, junior year: AAAA but senior year BBC. In the application I explained why this was the case (mainly due to personal issues at the time that distracted me from my work)

I think my teacher recs will be good but not sure yet.

Thanks for any input guys. Its a big help.

I dunno, just apply and see what happens? I mean, Michigan isn't exactly that hard to get into. Your GPA at NYU is pretty solid, and it sounds like your SAT scores are fine (or at least well within the range here). No one cares about what you did in high school once you already have university grades.

The only reason I know what an 'a-level' is is because I read a tabloid once about Prince Harry cheating on them.

konzer, Michigan had 3,500 transfer applicants last year and accepted just 1,400 of them. I would say it is quite difficult to get into Michigan as a transfer.

This said, a 3.7 GPA at NYU should make the OP competitive.

Eh, if anything that backs me up. 38% is pretty good odds for admission to a school like Michigan.
