Maybe BU or Miami but then why ? For engineering ? Why do you choose the most expensive schools ? And when people think engineering, they don’t think of these. Why do you think your family situation would be different ? And you can get a no interest loan ? Why - when you’ll get a similar outcome as other schools.
And how will you pay back said loan ? See BU salary below.

So you get in, then owe your family and can’t pay it back ?
The major is not a high earner and their other majors are fine. But you get the same from most others - because it’s engineering and short of a few schools, it doesn’t matter.
Some can afford the Ritz Carlton. But you can’t.
So maybe you get in but you won’t attend - just like last year when you pushed for the unaffordable. UT Austin and NC State - no opinion except on affordability.
