<p>Hi all,
I went to a public high school and got around a 3.2, but I did many extra curricular activities on the side, and SAT score of about 2100, but here’s my college background; (I plan on transferring as a junior)</p>
<p>-I attend Eastern Nazarene College as a Freshman
-History major/Business minor
-Interested in Public Relations/Communications
-3.9 GPA/made the Dean’s List
-I participate in their Honor’s program
-Administrative assistant on student council
-Administrator of publicity on the Honor’s Council
-Acquisitions Editor for Honor’s Newsletter
-Internship creating honors website with one of the school’s most prestigious professors</p>
<p>(this was just my second semester)
-But as for this summer, I will be working with a professor (who publishes books through Harvard Press) on researching his new book.
-Perhaps working with my college’s Marketing Department serving as the Marketing Assistant
- And depending on a few factors, either working at a nonprofit for public relations or traveling to study abroad at Oxford for five weeks.
- my letters of recommendation would come from a well known physicist (who has written 8 books), my boss who is a harvard grad, my professor who is a Yale graduate, and my other professor who writes many books through the Harvard Press and is greatly familiar with the faculty there.</p>
<p>Other info:
-100 hours community service from high school (hospital, library)
-played piano for 9 years
-plays on the college Quidditch team :)</p>
