Transfer chances for UCLA Math/Econ after this semester.

I moved to California this summer to begin taking classes at PCC. I already had 50 credits from an out of state school with a 4.0 GPA. However, these classes ranged between 5-10 credits per quarter so I was never full time.

Now that I have completed my first full time semester with 16 credits and grades are back, I am worried that it will seal my denial from UCLA Math/Econ. So here are the final grades and classes.

Jazz History - A
Spanish Civilization - A
Multivariable Calculus - B
Linear Algebra - B

I know that Math/Econ is not as selective as other majors but I still feel that UCLA will focus on this semester (~3.4 GPA) more heavily. Does this still keep me in the running?

Lastly, I'm not sure how they will view grades due to the transfer from quarter to semester. But I estimate my overall GPA at 3.85, my major (Math and Econ incl. precalc) GPA at 3.68 and my math (Calc and Linear Algebra Only) GPA at 3.5. I will be IGETC certified (already registered for last classes) but I will not have Discrete Math and Intro to Programming completed.

Most likely in. Discrete math and programming are graduation reqs, not prereqs, so they wouldn't mind I think.

2 Bs in prereq area will hurt you, but not sure how much. still, i say ur in just to give u the confidence to move forward.
