Transfer chances for UMass Amherst, Purdue, UIUC, UConn...?

Help! I am trying to fix my mistakes in the past, and need a bit of reassurance.

I am a college freshman right now at Ohio University and want to transfer for the spring 2020 semester. I was out of state for OU and I got waitlisted at my in-state school (UMass Amherst). Out of my original list, I got waitlisted at Syracuse, Tulane, and Umass Amherst).

My major would either be undecided, biology or business administration.

Stats/EC’s:
31 ACT score (Eng: 35, Math: 26, Science: 27, Reading 34, Writing: 8)
My GPA is 3.278 weighted and 3.043 unweighted

  • Member of UNICEF club, Red Cross club, Girl Up club, Cooking Club, Aviation Club, French club, Mental wellness club across 4 years of high school

Chance me for:

  • University of Massachusetts-Amherst (in-state)
  • Purdue
  • UIUC
  • Rutgers - New Brunswick
  • UBuffalo
  • UConn
  • Penn State
  • Bentley U
  • Temple U
  • Arizona State

Without a college record, transfer chances will not be possible to assess.

But also, a very early transfer (frosh or soph level) application will still depend heavily on your high school record. If you transfer at the junior level, your high school record will fade in importance.

Arizona State’s transfer requirements are listed at https://admission.asu.edu/transfer/apply (scroll down to “Admission Requirements”).

Thank you! I do know that my high school grades are pretty important since this is an early transfer, and I am wondering about my chances to these schools based on my hs grades.
