Currently attending Salem State University. Graduated high school in 2010. Decent but lopsided high school transcripts (3.7 overall unweighted GPA but got worse grades in Junior year and slightly worse in Senior year than in Freshman and Sophomore years). 2080 SATs. Started out attending Suffolk University in Fall of 2010, but withdrew within the first three weeks (still got a full semester worth of Ws) due to personal reasons (home foreclosure), then stupidly did the same thing at Salem in Spring of 2011. However, I returned in the fall and got all A’s, and currently have all A’s this semester, so my GPA is a 4.0 (taking business and core curriculum classes). Think I have a shot, or should I wait it out another couple semesters?

Think you’d be in 99%, just explain your circumstances.

Wow, really? Thanks for the input. The thing that is frightening me is that I only have one semester completed and 2 full of withdraws, though as I said my current semester is looking the same as my last one (but unfortunately won’t show on my transcript until the end of the semester, obviously). Also, fwiw, the classes I took last semester are Sociology, Finite Math, Financial Accounting, Principles of Marketing, and Public Speaking (Public Speaking is a Salem State requirement). This semester I’m taking Business Law I, World History I, Intro to Business, Macroeconomics, and a requisite basic computer class. I also have 3 credits on my transcript from “testing out” of English Composition I (they let you do so if you have high enough SATs).
