<p>My son is in a state flagship university and plans to transfer for junior next year.</p>

<p>Does he have any chance to top 10 schools?</p>

<p>High School GPA: 3.3
College GPA: around 3.75-3.85
SAT/ACT Scores: 800CR, 740Math, 710W/ACT 33
SAT II Scores: 800Math2, 780Physics
Significant ECs: intern/staff at gubernatorial campaign and finally won the race. Plus national honor society, national etc.
Strong Essays/Recs: will get strong rec from governor elect
Hooks: hold an U.S. patent, published a paper on IEEE conference when in HS.</p>
