Transfer College report gpa

Hello, I am an international student in CA attending at De Anza College. I am a transfer applicant and I submitted my transfer college report to the admission center of my college. You know, in the Common Application, there is a ‘college report’ that I need to fiil out, and there’s a section for “cumulative gpa”.
As an international student, I took several ESL courses that are NOT transferrable… And the officer counted ESL untransferrable courses in my GPA. The officer put 3.81 GPA on cumulative gpa section that also contains untransferrable ESL courses. However, Origianlly, if I don’t count my Untransferrable ESL courses on my gpa scale, it will be 3.88
I asked the officer if it is correct way to count untransferrable courses on my GPA, and she said she doesn’t know…

I would like to know which is a correct way to calculate and write down on ‘cumulative gap’ section? Should i also calculate the untransferrable courses on my cumulative gpa? Or should I only count transferrable units?
